Paddles
CohoKayak offers a range of paddle styles, each incorporates the advantages and style of wood. Each paddle incorporates laminations of Cedar and Kiri; timbers selected for their beauty, strength and light weight. Where appropriate, the paddle blade is reinforced with hardwood tips or transparent epoxy/fiberglass coatings to protect the blade. All paddles are finished with multi coat epoxy and hand rubbed satin oil finish.
Because every CohoKayak paddle is hand made, special modifications can be incorporated to suit your personal taste. Change the length to suit, choose different timbers or colours, add a hand carved motif or add the authentic look of whale bone tips(synthetic of course). Talk to us about your ideas.
